How to get on board:
- Server Entry: Add
irc.weed.ovhto your server list. - Encryption: Use Port 6697 and enable SSL/TLS. We don’t do unencrypted traffic here. 🛡️
- Tor Mode (Optional):
- Open your Tor Browser (it acts as your local proxy).
- In your client (AdiIRC or HexChat), go to Network/Proxy Settings.
- Set Type to SOCKS5, Host to
127.0.0.1, and Port to 9150. - Use our dedicated Onion-Address as the Server:

The Mobile Workflow:
- Standard Connect: Add the network
Weed.ovh, use Port 6697 (SSL). - Going Dark (Tor):
- Fire up Orbot and hit start. 🤖
- In HexDroid, enable Use Proxy in the network settings.
- Set the Proxy to SOCKS5 (Host:
127.0.0.1, Port:9150). - Set the Server to the Onion-Address and you’re communicating from behind the digital curtain.
