For those who want to vanish completely, our server is fully Onion-ready. You can connect to our XMPP service through the Tor Network, bypassing any censorship or IP-tracking. This creates a “Dual-Stack” bridge between the clearnet and the darknet. 🕵️‍♂️🌐

How to use the Onion-Bridge:

  1. Activate Tor: Use Orbot (Android) or the Tor Browser (Desktop) to start your proxy.
  2. Configure Proxy: In your XMPP app (like Gajim or Conversations), set your account proxy to SOCKS5 (Host: 127.0.0.1, Port: 9050 or 9150).
  3. Onion Address: Use our dedicated Onion-Hostname as your “Connect Server” to keep your metadata hidden in the shadows.

🔑 How to Log In

Getting started is as easy as lighting up. Once your account is approved, use these credentials in your XMPP app:

  • Username: Your full community email (e.g., you@weed.ovh)
  • Password: Your chosen secure password
  • Domain/Server: weed.ovh
  • Onion-Server: weedovhxhxzdi47dfjda7gkwogwvuvwacgp3djfyrtsgwlpcf3ajqdid.onion

Pro-Tip: If your app asks for a “Provider,” just enter your email address. The system handles the rest via our optimized DNS-SRV records. 🛠️
